Life Drawing ( second week )

Today we learned about how to "Let everything go free", with no accuracy and no control. And also how to transfer ourselves freely like a child as Pablo Picasso said "It took me four years to paint like Raphael, but a lifetime to paint like a child."

Today we used different techniques. First of all using unnatural hand which was difficult but not as difficult as drawing without looking at the paper ! It was like driving with closed eyes, however I liked my work because it was alright! And then drawing by moving the paper under the fixed pen in our hands.

Henri Matisse 1869- 1954

We also review and analyze some drawing works of Matisse, Rembrandt, Picasso and some other great artist which was really helpful to understand the meaning of simplicity.

After theoretical part of lesson we begin to drawing and working with charcoal and ink and it was such a worthwhile and pleasant experience.
